Brain fog is when you feel out of it, forgetful, or just "fuzzy"
People with autoimmune disorders are more prone to brain fog because inflammation can impact your cognitive function. A poor diet is also linked to brain fog and can cause inflammation.
Your diet can play an important role in your cognitive function!
Find yourself having brain fog? Here are some ways to help fight brain fog:
- SLEEP!
- Focus on your diet - increase anti-inflammatory foods like fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and healthy fats and decrease inflammatory foods like processed foods, refined carbs, fried foods, or excessive alcohol; vitamin b12 supports healthy brain function so eat foods like chicken, fish, low-fat dairy, or eggs
- Movement - get some exercise, it can help relieve stress and can improve cognition
- Manage your stress
